HOUSTON, TX - As expected DeMeco got the start at the Mike (middle) linebacker position in tonight's opening preseason game against Kansas City. The Texans defense held Chief quarterbacks to only 38 yards in the air but did allow 74 yards on 15 rushes on the ground. 

In the first half, DeMeco contributed with 4 tackles and 2 assists. He is not expected to play in the second half. At the half, Texans lead Chiefs 14-7.  DeMeco's post game comments will be posted upon completion of the game.
