Hurricane Ike has forced the Texans’ home opener against the Baltimore Ravens to be moved to 7:30 p.m.Hurricane Ike has forced the Texans’ home opener against the Baltimore Ravens to be moved to 7:30 p.m. Monday night at Reliant Stadium. The game will be televised on local CBS stations in the primary and secondary team markets: Houston, Beaumont-Port Arthur and Bryan. The Monday night game between the Eagles and Cowboys at Texas Stadium will be shown at its regular time on ESPN. The NFL announced late this afternoon that, in conjunction with the Texans and Ravens, the game should be postponed for a day to help the city deal with the fallout from the hurricane that’s expected to make landfall early Saturday morning. “It doesn’t matter to me when we play, but not knowing was tough,” middle linebacker DeMeco Ryans said. “We can make plans now. We’ve been trying to focus on the games, but you can’t ignore the hurricane. You get a lot of calls from family and friends asking questions you don’t have answers for.
