DeMeco turns in 6 tackle performance If the Texans played in the NFC South, they might be a legitimate playoff contender. The Texans finished 3-1 in the NFC South after defeating Tampa Bay 28-14 on Sunday, when they broke the Buccaneers' four-game winning streak and kept them from clinching the division title. With Sage Rosenfels throwing three touchdown passes and the defense playing its best game of the season, the Texans elevated their record to 6-7 going into Thursday night's nationally televised game against Denver at Reliant Stadium.
