What Gives Texans Fans Hope in 2007?For Texans fans, 2006 will be mostly remember for the year of The Draft. I'm not going to talk about that. What I am going to ask you is this: what aspects of the 2006 season give you the most hope in 2007? Here's some of mine:
1. DeMeco Ryans. If you have aspirations of a dominant defense, there is nothing getting a football smart middle linebacker to help build a foundation for the future.
2. Entertaining Offense. The Texans offense often looked its best in the first drives of games with their scripted plays. Scripted plays meant that uh, the old quarterback (who shall not be named because some of you are sick of me talking about him) had rehearsed what he was going to do with those plays, and it was easier for everyone. Last year, there were more moments of entertaining offensive football. Moments that you could see what the offense's potential was if the players got more familiar with it, and had more of the right personnel to run it. READ MORE
